The Crop Circle Research Archive database currently holds nearly 17,000 pieces of information cross-referenced to over 2,850 crop formations from 1927 to the early 2000s. This information is broken down into categories such as:
- Surveys
- Nearly 8,000 photos, many of which have never peviously been seen
- Reports (many of these are first-hand and contemporaneous)
- Scientific research that was undertaken at the time
- Shadow diagrams
- Geometry
- Magazine articles and newspaper clippings
- Correspondence (between researchers)
Much of this informaton has never previously been published.
