It may surprise some people to learn that in the early 1990s Rob Irving helped to produce the Official Newsletter of the Beckhampton Group: Crop Formation Investigators. Writing articles such as Microbiological Study of a Crop-Circle Site he was joined in the group by both Adrian Dexter and Jim Schnabel. The group was disbanded in August 1992:
